Let me know if it is better.
As far as SSI, the changes need to be made to participants that are 45 and younger (this includes me) to do two things. Make the retirement age later and cut the benefit amount along with remove the cap for all high income earners so that folks that make > $125K keep on paying the SSI tax no matter what. Yes, all of these things are unpopular, but the system is and will be even more broke without them.

In regard to XLE, just call me lucky on the reversal, but overall the entire energy complex is in the right place at the right time in the recovery cycle. I fully expect that trend to continue for the entire year. Energy and bank are really the place to look for outperformance for the longer term perspective.Goatmughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06717166521459240516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758770623162438423.post-75468793106269944332011-01-26T19:00:59.033-08:002011-01-26T19:00:59.033-08:00I'm not sure how you knew XLE was going up tod...I'm not sure how you knew XLE was going up today. good call.
btw, can you take the word verification out---those always take me a minute to fill out!
first time visitor request.zstock7http://zstock7.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758770623162438423.post-84427926502148142292011-01-26T18:56:55.828-08:002011-01-26T18:56:55.828-08:00they already cut SSI. the prices went up across t...they already cut SSI. the prices went up across the board (inflation and oh and don't forget obsolescence costs, those are up 200%) , just enough, so that my mom's SSI, which she used to be able to put 400 to 500 a month aside, is now getting $200 a month loans from me to cover her bills.
I hate these 4th Reich sob's....( the asset classes)zstock7http://zstock7.comnoreply@blogger.com
